C. M. - It's about time this government quit infringing on the parental rights of Elians father.

M. H. - The only one with parental rights in Cuba is Castro, the Cuban Constitution claims all children to be State Property!

C. M. - This country has held this poor child hostage since Thanksgiving Day.

M. H. - He will be even poorer in Cuba!

C. M. - I cannot believe the level that politicians have sunk over this issue.

M. H. - I know, for some it is hard to understand why people oppose communism!

 C. M. - This child has become political propaganda for politicians in this country.

M. H. - I suppose Castro never bussed in thousands for "spontaneous demonstrations"

C. M. - This child should have been returned within a few days of his capture.

M. H. - Funny I thought he was rescued.

C. M. - I am certainly glad that this dreadful kidnapping of this Cuban child is finally coming to an end.

M. H. - I would certainly be glad if people guilty of thought crimes were released from Castro’s jails.

C. M. - Could you imagine if this case was the other way around?

M. H. - Yea if Clinton / Gore continues, this country would be headed straight to communism and people will have to escape from the U.S. as Cubans have to risk everything to flea Castro.

C. M. - If the Cuban government held a U.S. child captive because they thought it would be in his best interest to grow up in a dictatorship. I believe that Americans would call that kidnapping.

M. H. - Now you’re really going out on a limb.

C. M. - I cannot wait until the day that this child steps foot back in his homeland.

M. H. - Neither can Castro, he can tell his prisoners, "Forget about freedom … even Lady Liberty spits you back … stick with me!"

C. M. - So what if CUBA is an abusive country.

M. H. - Yea what heck, who really cares if Castro abuses people? They must WANT to be abused!

C. M. - What about the United States? Cops and Crooks kill here. Look at Waco and Ruby Ridge? Sounds like our government has been a little abusive at times

M. H. - Right… Two wrongs DO make a right! Now I understand you! The Butcher of Waco, and defender of Clinton, Janet Reno, wants to support Castro by giving him this child who breathed free air… so Castro can squeeze it out of him … just as Reno / Clinton suffocated the children of Waco.

C. M. - You’re forgetting the fact that this child is not an U.S. citizen. He doesn't and should not be given the rights of an U.S. citizen.

M. H. - The U.S. has always welcomed political refugees from Cuba. That is what Elian is.

C. M. - I’ve noticed that Republicans are inclined to except One immigrant, But, if it was a boatload you guys would be shipping them back. TRUE?

M. H. - No, not true. As a matter of fact Republicans are for more immigration, while the union backed Democrats want the doors to this country welded shut, with union labor of course!

C. M. - So your saying that the U.S. should keep everyone that flees communist CUBA? Correct? Your not making an exception for just ONE? RIGHT?

M. H. - That has always been the American way, the criminals sent over by Castro being he only exception.

C. M. - I like the fact that you’re kissing up to McCain. His quote" Freedom is the greatest family value of all" What a crock.

M. H. - I am not sure where McCain enters the picture. Freedom is the bedrock this country is built on. If family values are built on that rock, why all the gloom?

C. M. - What has Freedom gotten Nathaniel Abraham or that 6-year-old in Flint.

M. H. - Freedom is the opportunity to succeed to be free to succeed one is also free to fail. Little Nat and Dedric (He has the same name as his dear old dad Dedric Owens, I do believe, I saw it on a web page from an English tabloid, the web page was gone when I went back) chose to negate the freedom of others and will pay dearly.

C. M. - The greatest family value is having parents that love and support you.

M. H. - Now you sound Republican, did you clear that last statement with your comrades?

C. M. - Parents can do that in Communist CUBA.

M. H. - Parents in Cuba must love and support Castro!

C. M. - You cry and mope about this boy being forced into the fields to work and then going into the army, WHA! WHA! Maybe he'll learn to work in life and respect authority.

M. H. - That’s what some folks said about slavery!

C. M. - This kids dad has already said that he doesn't want to raise his child in the U.S. He loves his country. Americans just don't get it.

M. H. - One of Elian’s Grand Mothers said she wanted to stay, but did not claim asylum, due to fear of what would happen to her relatives left behind. Who knows if this father, (who cared so much about his son, that he sent him in to shark infested waters, on a leaky inner-tube) is also scared of the Abusive Castro?

C. M. - Most of the people in Cuba love CASTRO. He is there HERO. LONG LIVE FIDEL!!!!!!

M. H. - And may his enemies, the lovers of freedom, die a slow tortuous death in his prisons!

C. M. - This guy is in the U.S. and he has already been asked if he wants citizenship, He said NO!!!!!

M. H. - Well even YOU are also FREE TO LEAVE, any time your little heart desires!

C. M. - You claim that Cuba is a CULT, Because its people are property of the state. The last time I heard, me and you and everyone else I know who are American citizens are property of the U.S. Government. We've even been given a nice 9 digit number so the government can keep track of us.

M. H. - Yes the Socialist Security is that way! The Commies have won some battles over here and are trying to take over. Look at your sweet heart Hillary’s socialized medicine plan. Look at the assault on private property rights, by Homosexuals, by Handicapped Golfers, by GUN CONTROL FREAKS!

C. M. - I would seriously like to know why you think this case is <not> a custody issue?

M. H. - If a Michigan mom dies, and dad is doing hard time in Jackson, should the kid be forced to go live in the Big House?

C. M. - The mother of this child, endangered his life. I'm supposed to respect her for almost killing her child, That's called abuse in the U.S. I have no respect for someone who puts their child in harms way.

M. H. - When a family of Jews escaped from a ghetto, with their children, to flee the Nazis, they too would be child abusers in your book.

C. M. - The father has come here to take his son back to his homeland. How can anyone argue with him?

M. H. - Some of them arguing / pleading with him to give his son the chance to live Castro Free, do so because they lived under Castro’s hammer!

C. M. - What rights do distant relatives have to try to stop him? Grandparents don't have rights in this country, Why should uncles and cousins?

M. H. - They must believe some tripe about "life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness"

C. M. - The fact is you people only think of MATERIAL VALUES not FAMILY VALUES.

M. H. - "You People" You people? Are you trying to insult people who value intellectual freedom, by mocking the results of intellectual freedom, property and the right to own it. To even suggest property rights are inconsistent with family values is wrong.

C. M. - You say look at all he could have in this country. Swing sets, Cable, NINETENDO, He has freedom to shop and eat fast-food, His cousins and uncles will buy him gifts in order for him to forget his family in his homeland. This is what is happening it's all Materialistic.

M. H. - Perhaps they should just feed him his Cuban ration, don’t forget no milk next year!

C. M. - Don't be fooled by his relatives in America. They aren't just in it for LOVE. They know what monetary value this child has in America. Think of the movies and Books, This child can make them a lot of money.

M. H. - Maybe he could learn to sing and dance like Dezi Arnez! You’re right he has a lot of opportunity here! Books and movies could even be smuggled into Cuba to offer Cubans to hope for freedom from a repressive government! Why would you want to discourage the growth of freedom in Cuba?

C. M. - Luckily, his father doesn't want to take part in this, He wants his child to grow up and live a simple life in CUBA, where he will be loved by his real family.

M. H. - With Elian back in Cuba … no public relations problem for Castro.

C. M. - The United States Government should be ashamed of themselves for trying to kidnap this child from his father and you should be ashamed of yourself for supporting it.

M. H. - The defense of liberty is no vice. The father has no rights in Cuba.
