Extraordinary Eh? |
When citizens fail to grasp simple facts like "It's better to breath clean air as opposed to smoke" and these citizens look to the Feds to get "Revenge against big tobacco" for being "fooled" by Joe Camel...we are in a big heap of trouble. A big heap of trouble because personal responsibility is gone out the window. A big heap of trouble because a fundamental right of private property is gone. If a man owns some land and builds a structure on it, if he invites guests to his structure, and if the government has rules that his guests can not smoke in that structure, then the government has taken ownership of the structure. A big heap of trouble because we as a people have made the transition from being parents of the government to being children of the government. Children of the government, dependent upon our maternal government for every skinned knee? A big heap of trouble because if tobacco was banned, we could not afford the POLICE STATE required to enforce the ban. A big heap of trouble if we throw or freedom away based on ridiculous statistics, to say 11,000 people die a day because of tobacco is just nuts, (but it keeps the liberal health police in their glory), people die for lots of reasons, lots of drinkers smoke... and some folks even get old! A big heap of trouble if we dont start reining in the government, the government is what distorted the health care trade (study why I carefully chose the term "trade") ignoring the concept of insurance, socializing medicine, (all in the name of the "children" the Orwellian trick being all the citizens are to be considered "children"), driving costs through the moon! A big heap of trouble if the government feels it can ban a weed with out a constitutional amendment. Why was an amendment needed for probation? And we all know what a brilliant plan that was. The reality of the situation is the government can issue laws banning marijuana, but the government has not been able to ban pot, it is still around. A government that can effectively ban position of agricultural products can also ban free enterprise, commonly known as liberty. A big heap of trouble as the Feds build upon their claim ownership of everyone's bodies ... because they are "responsible" for everyone's health. If you think I am off the mark on the notion of the Feds claiming ownership of your body, try to arrange for the selling of your organs... (Cant sell something you don't own, don't ya know!) A big heap of trouble cause we were pretty stupid following Kavorkian along with his suicide machine, if cigarettes are so lethal, why didnt the good doctor give his patients a carton of Camels? A big heap of trouble if we fail to realize that freedom is fragile and should be rigorously defended, if free people want to exercise their freedom by purposely not breathing clean air, you gotta love 'em, and maybe even bury 'em, but certainly not jail 'em.
