The Dream Haters.
When some people see development, they see "urban sprawl",
when I see development I recognize that people are "following their
dreams".
If you want to drive through the country side and see empty fields, then
you are free to follow your dreams and go buy the fields so you can
drive by them.
If you want to prevent someone from developing property they own, you
have no respect for the concept of property rights, just as the
socialists and communists think all property belongs to the government.
You want the government to destroy the dreams of others, so you can realize
your glorious vision on how others must live. You might spout that you
are against urban sprawl, but you are really against people's dreams,
you are a Dream Hater.
If you want to see urban wastelands developed, go buy them and develop
them.
If you want to know one of the reasons it is not practical or feasible
to develop urban waste lands, you should ponder this bit of irony... The
indigenous population near urban wastelands shares a common trait with
the "Dream Haters" - They both have no respect for Property
Rights!
