| Thanks for giving me easy ones:-) This one is the "cross spider," or "European garden spider," Araneus diadematus. It is either holarctic (occurs throughout the Northern hemisphere), or is a European import to the U.S. In any event it is common and completely harmless. They spin beautiful orb webs and catch lots of garden pests. |
